Las motitos

En un suburbio pobre de Córdoba capital transcurre el romance de Juli (Carla Gusolfino) y Lauti (Ignacio Pedrone), un suburbio con  algunos jóvenes que incurren en delitos menores y con la presencia policial como telón de fondo. Pero no es ésta una historia sobre la pequeña delincuencia o la marginalidad. Sólo son el marco con el que ambos conviven. Y ambos conviven también con sus madres y pequeños hermanos. Pronto emerge Juli como protagonista, quien con sus 15 años queda embarazada. 

¿Cómo vive esta situación una adolescente que se lleva mal con su madre (una notable Carolina Godoy)? ¿Cómo transita Juli la soledad y la incomunicación? ¿Cómo se pide ayuda? Ella y su novio acuerdan  en el camino a seguir, pero ¿de qué modo llevarlo a cabo sin un sistema médico que lo permita? 

En la interpretación de Carla Gusolfino se alternan admirablemente la niña y la mujer, alternancia que marca los vaivenes en el vínculo con una madre perceptiva y alerta. Los adultos de Las motitos se mostrarán más presentes que en Las mil y una de Clarisa Navas.

La película de Inés María Barrionuevo y María Gabriela Vidal (basada en una novela de esta última) acompaña con naturalidad, cariño y respeto a todos sus personajes y a sus decisiones.

In a poor suburb of Córdoba capital the romance of Juli (Carla Gusolfino) and Lauti (Ignacio Pedrone) takes place, a suburb with some young people who commit minor crimes and with the police presence as a backdrop. But this is not a story about petty crime or marginality. They are only the framework with which both live. And both also live with their mothers and little brothers. Juli soon emerges as the protagonist, who at 15 becomes pregnant.

How does a teenager who gets on badly with her mother (a notable Carolina Godoy) live this situation? How does Juli experience loneliness and isolation? How do you ask for help? She and her boyfriend agree on the way forward, but how to carry it out? 

In Carla Gusolfino's interpretation, the girl and the woman alternate admirably, an alternation that marks the ups and downs in the bond with a perceptive and alert mother. The adults in Las motitos are more present than in Las mil y una by Clarisa Navas, another movie about young people. 

The film by María Barrionuevo and María Gabriela Vidal (based on a novel by the latter) accompanies all its characters and their decisions with naturalness, affection and respect.
