Muy gracioso (y algo deprimente) cortometraje sobre la negociación entre el administrador de un modesto salón de fiestas y una posible clienta que quiere festejar el cumpleaños de su padre.

 Ganadora de los premios a Mejor Cortometraje (ex aequo) y Mejor Actuación (Ana Katz) de la Competencia oficial argentina del #BAFICI2021. (se puede ver acá) 

Reseña:

Fabián (Germán Bermúdez) administra un salón de fiestas. Cuando llega una posible clienta (Ana Katz), que quiere festejar el cumpleaños de su padre, Fabián despliega ante ella las virtudes del local y le muestra los shows que es posible contratar, aunque hay uno que es su favorito.

 

Germán canta es un cortometraje sumamente divertido a pesar (y a causa) de sus elementos innegablemente deprimentes. Bermúdez está genial, desopilante, en su papel de denodado vendedor que no abandona nunca un registro absolutamente realista y genera un muy buen contrapunto con la clienta renuente que compone Katz. 

Pocos pantallazos, atentos al detalle, le alcanzan al director Diego Crespo para una aguda descripción del modesto salón, escenario del duelo entre Germán y la clienta y de las vocaciones frustradas del administrador.

Very funny (and somewhat depressing) short film about the negotiation between the manager of a modest party hall and a potential client who wants to celebrate her father's birthday.

Fabián (Germán Bermúdez) manages a party room. When a possible client (Ana Katz) arrives, who wants to celebrate her father's birthday, Fabián displays the virtues of the venue before her and shows her the shows that it is possible to hire, although there is one that is her favorite.

 

Fabián sings  is an extremely funny short film despite (and because of) its undeniably depressing elements. Bermúdez is great, hilarious, in his role as a fearless salesperson who never abandons an absolutely realistic record and generates a very good counterpoint with the reluctant client that Katz composes. 

Few screenshots, attentive to detail, reach the director Diego Crespo for a sharp description of the modest room, scene of the duel between Germán and the client and of the frustrated vocations of the administrator.
